CSEA 470 supporting Board candidates through volunteering & PACE

Chapter 470 stands shoulder to shoulder with our four Board of Trustees candidate-challengers, and they have been very appreciate of our members’ time and effort provided over the past few weeks. For multiple weekends members have volunteered, distributing door hangers, walking Trustee areas (in a safe, socially-distanced manner), making calls, and sending texts. Next week we will be utilizing the CSEA “Call Hub” to make member-to-member calls and texts asking other Chapters in the area to vote for our candidates.

After our Chapter voted to endorse our slate, the leadership submitted funding requests to our Association’s Political Action for Classified Employees (PACE) Committee. All four candidates received funding, and we took photographs of them with their check, see below.
